    Page at a Glance

Page is ideal for exploring many of the American southwest's renowned national parks and monuments as well as discovering the unique culture of the adjacent Navajo Nation Reservation. Created as a company town for the construction of Glen Canyon Dam in the 1960s, Page has steadily grown adding more and more amenities. Golfers can enjoy Lake Powell National Golf Course and a number of companies in Page provide photographic and scenic air tours of the canyons. Page is also the gateway to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Lake Powell, which provides recreational activities such as boating, fishing, waterskiing, jet-skiing and hiking. Prepared campgrounds can be found at local marinas and visitors have the option of renting a houseboat at the lake. Camping is popular in the canyons and is a great place to enjoy views of Glen Canyon and the Navajo Reservation.
